Francis Jarman

Francis has worked in the financial services profession for more than 30 years, building a career with some of the UK’s most respected financial institutions, including AXA, Barclays, Coutts & Co, UBS Wealth Management and Brewin Dolphin. His interest in financial planning has always centred on helping people make informed decisions and achieve financial confidence, whether they are planning for retirement, preserving wealth for future generations or navigating complex family circumstances.

As one of the first advisers in the UK to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status, Francis is passionate about combining extensive technical expertise with practical, client-focused advice. He believes successful financial planning is about far more than investments and products; it is about understanding what matters most to clients and helping them make important life decisions with clarity and confidence.

At the heart of Francis’s approach is building long-term relationships. He enjoys getting to know his clients, understanding their goals, concerns and aspirations, and creating tailored financial planning strategies that evolve as their circumstances change. His broad experience allows him to support individuals, families, trustees and business owners across a wide range of financial planning needs.

Alongside his Chartered Financial Planner status and Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS), Francis holds the STEP Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) qualification and has completed the CFA Investment Management Certificate and the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Portfolio Management examination. These qualifications enable him to provide integrated advice across financial planning, investment management, trusts and estate planning.
